Guilty Gear Strive Venom Gameplay Trailer Released

By Kevin KellyMarch 26, 2025
Guilty Gear Strive

Guilty Gear Strive revealed that Venom will be returning to the mayhem. Jumping in since Guilty Gear X, Venom is making his return as a Daredevil to the latest run during this year’s Arc World Tour. The Post War Administration Bureau’s experiment Robo-Ky seems to be joining him, too. Well, a version of Robo-Ky. This one isn’t fully adapted yet. This Ky is a drone, to say the least, who is an assist to Venom. Once thought dead, Venom has returned with his cue balls at will.

Venom’s zoning is in full effect as well as his poke game in this iteration. His billiards can also throw back projectiles at opponents as his own. Robo-Ky has some assist moves to throw in on his egotistical own. He keeps the pressure on the opponent, adding onto the damage keepaway game that Venom already pulls off.

Venom will be available this week on March 24, 2025.  Unika and Cyberpunk Edgerunners Lucy will be joining Venom and Queen Dizzy later this year. Urika, from the anime Guilty Gear: Dual Rulers, will be available for a trial run at Evo Japan 2025 from May 9 to 11, 2025. This is possibly before the release.

Guilty Gear Strive will be getting some new updates this summer such as a character specific ranking mode. Entering Ranked will not require going through the tower to go to the mode directly. Seven ranks await from Iron to Vanquisher for more character specific ranks. The Tower will be renamed after the release and revamped to get this change in May – August 2025.

【② Additional Feature】
In May 2025, the implementation of the "Frame Data Display" feature is officially confirmed!#GGST #GuiltyGearStrive pic.twitter.com/lwP7cpuetp
